And we now offer Basic Life Support Training with our accredited training partners nationwide.

What is Basic Life Support Training? 

Basic life support training is an intensive training session, focused on assisting nursing and care staff of all grades to learn valuable procedures and processes to follow in cases of emergency. This would be considered a critical intervention to prevent potentially life-threatening situations from escalating.  

Included would be items such as: 

  1. How to identify potentially life-threatening emergencies 

  2. Vital lifesaving procedure to adhere to 

  3. How to administer high quality chest compressions 

  4. How to use and ensure AED devices are working correctly 

  5. Administering of CPR using barrier devices 

  6. How to treat choking and foreign object airway obstruction. 

What does BLS Training Include? 

The courses our training partners have on offer are internationally accredited and with the guidance and coaching of nursing facilitators, you will be given clear and concise training on: 

  • You will be trained on the chain of survival, specifically focused on the BLS components  

  • The correct and most effective CPR practices for infants, adults, and children 

  • Multi-rescue, and how teams assist each over during an emergency 

This course will open numerous opportunities for you as an agency nurse.
