The Ambition24hours SANC Fees Payment Plan was created to help our nursing staff. This means nurses registered to work with Ambition24hours Nursing Agency, can pay off their SANC renewal fee. These manageable monthly contributions can be deducted as you go, instead of having to pay the full fee over the Festive Season.

What is the annual SANC fee?

Nurses and midwives need an annual practicing certificate (APC) from the South African Nursing Council (SANC) to practice in South Africa. The registration fee for SANC must be paid by 31 December.

Who needs to pay?

In order to be booked for shifts in 2024, you need to submit your renewed SANC certificate in time.

“Every person registered with the Council who wishes to continue practising his / her profession in the Republic of South Africa for the following year must pay the annual fee before or on the due date in the year concerned.” - SANC

How much are the annual fees and what is the Ambition24hours payment plan?

The 2024 SANC renewal fees, according to a circular issued by SANC and the Ambition24hours SANC Fees Payment plan, are:

*Note: The Council has resolved to introduce reduced fees for nurses 60 years of age and over:

60 to 64 years of age on 1 January 2023 (25% reduction)
65 years of age and older on 01 January 2023 (50% reduction)

How can you sign up for the SANC Fees Payment Plan?

Nursing and midwifery practitioners who have registered to work with Ambition24hours Nursing Agency, can sign up for our payment plan. If you opt in, our payroll department will deduct four (4) payments, from August to November 2023.

How can the Annual Fee be paid?

The council sends out a reminder to each registered person towards the end of each year. The reminder gives full details of how to pay the annual fee for the following year. If you have opted-in for the payment plan, our payroll team will handle the renewal for you.
