The Main Purpose of the Job: 

• To organize and implement selected training and development activities to ensure that all agency nursing staff are competent.  

• You will be doing induction, training and risk assessments, as well as other essential activities, with various private and government health facilities.  

• The Nursing Facilitator plays a large role in our vital Compliance Process. 

Ambition24hours is looking for someone who can spot a problem and work swiftly to remedy it. We, as well as some of our clients, have quite modern IT systems on which you will be expected to operate, thus a basic understanding of computers is required.  

Responsibilities & Competencies: 

• Client visits with private, public and homecare clients 

• Reporting and documenting  

• Updating care plans 

• Must be strong administratively 

• Good eye for detail 

• Excellent patient care experience 

• Ability to prevent or limit risk 

• Ability to understand client needs 

• Good communication and interpersonal skills capable of maintaining strong relationships. 

• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills. 

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. 

• Must be willing to travel with a valid driver's license   

Qualifications 

• Degree / Diploma in Nursing (required) 

• Unit specific certificate or diploma where appropriate (e.g., Emergency Centre / Operating Theatre / Critical Care Unit) (desired) 

Experience 

• 2 years of Clinical Experience as a Professional Nurse (required) 

• 1-2 years' experience as a peer mentor (desired) 

• 1-2 years' experience as a workplace assessor (desired)
