Responsibilities
Provide immediate and effective care to patients in emergency and trauma situations.
Perform triage, patient assessments, and administer treatments.
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for patients.
Ensure proper documentation and adherence to clinical protocols and safety standards.
Deliver compassionate and patient-focused care in a high-pressure environment.
Requirements
Registered Nurse (RN) qualification with a specialisation in casualty/emergency nursing.
Current registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC).
At least 2 years of experience in a casualty/emergency department.
Ability to work under pressure and manage emergency situations effectively.
Strong communication skills and a patient-centric approach.
Flexibility to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
